Lori, what do you want people to know about the products or product line you offer?
I have always loved journals and planners, and now I get to create them, it’s like a dream come true. I always design in PowerPoint because I feel it the easiest software to use and access for most folks. I even offer some training on how to get the most out of PowerPoint, so you aren’t stuck figuring it all out on your own.
Tell us a bit about you – what do you want content creators to know about you?
I have been a budding entrepreneur for many years – and have finally achieved my goal of being my own boss. I have always enjoyed using journals and planners, so becoming a Low Content PLR Designer has been a natural fit, to help me realize that dream. As a designer, I work primarily in PowerPoint to create my products, it makes me feel smart ;).
What do you love about your products and how can “content creators” benefit from them?
I have to say, I started out creating PLR products, but I really enjoy creating courses. While I know that people can take my products and earn money from them, I feel that by sharing my knowledge, I’m helping them even more.
How did you get started in your business and what do you love about it?
I had wanted to be my own boss for many years, so I tried many things, and finally Low Content PLR was what stuck, because it was such a great fit for me. I was initially scared to enter the low content market because I didn’t know Photoshop, so as soon as I learned that I could create in PowerPoint and get the same results, I knew that was what I wanted to do. And now I get to create products and courses in PowerPoint myself – my dream come true.
Please share a tip for people wanting to create and sell products online.
My best tip is to take the action. I would create a product, but I was intimidated by having to write a sales page – and I let that stop me – more than once. The truth is, I still struggle with my sales pages – yet I make sales, so don’t let a hurdle stop you – take the action.
What do you wish you knew when you first got started in your business?
I wish I knew that everyone else wasn’t going to judge me as harshly as I was judging myself. I was so worried about getting everything “right” that I was unable to move forward. Once I started taking action, I was much easier on myself too.
