Course Description: A foundation level course to help you get started and discover your potential as a fiction writer. This course aims to inspire you and help you find focus as you set off on your writing journey, with exercises to fire your imagination, questionnaires to help you understand your motivation and action steps to enhance self-belief and commitment.
Course Content: The course will use Powerpoint presentations (downloadable as PDFs), audio, PDF notes, questionnaires/exercises, action steps.
What I’m Enjoying Most About the Course Creation Challenge: What I’ve enjoyed so much about the Course Creation Challenge is how D’vorah demystifies aspects we may be finding daunting. She has technical knowledge which she relays with great clarity. Her teaching is full of warmth and heart. She takes the process of creating a course and breaks it down into actionable steps – and each step always feels ‘doable’, so that her students don’t feel overwhelmed. She never assumes a level of internet or technical expertise her students may not necessarily have.
Words of Wisdom to Course Creation Challenge Participants: You’re going to have a great time! Never be afraid to ask D’vorah anything – she’ll go the extra mile to make things clear to you. Also, do take part in the Facebook group – it’s a great community. Finally, don’t “overpressurise” yourself. It’s a 30 day challenge but you don’t need to do it in 30 days. Find your own pace to create the best course you can.
