In this module, you’ll learn how to locate, record, transcribe and transform audio and video content for your Kindle publications. Transcripts make great content for Kindle books and are easy to create. It’s likely that you may already have audio or video recordings on your computer that you can transcribe and publish.
Module 4: Format Your Content for Kindle
In this module, you’ll discover an easy way to format your working manuscript and get it into a format that you can publish to Kindle. While that might sound daunting, the process you’ll learn will show you that it really is quite simple. Get ready to celebrate your beautifully formatted manuscript.
Module 5: Create Book Covers for Kindle
In this module, you’ll learn how to easily create a branded book cover for a single publication as well as for a Kindle book series. There’s a saying; “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Your book cover can be like that, and it can speak volumes (no pun intended.) You want your book cover to inspire potential readers to want to find out more about your book.
Module 6: Implementation Week and Prepare to Publish
To make the most of this Kindle Challenge opportunity, give yourself the gift of time to get your book ready to be published. There is a saying, “done is better than perfect.” If you happen to find yourself procrastinating or going into perfectionist mode, “step away from the car!” Then review where you are at and create an action plan to help you to move forward.
For the purposes of the Kindle Creation Challenge, your class project is to get at least one Kindle book published. So don’t let perfectionism stand in your way.Also for your class project pick a topic that you can easily and quickly create content on. This project is not intended to be your entire life’s work.

In this module, you’ll learn how to publish a Kindle book to Amazon. While “publishing” a book might sound like a daunting task, publishing a book to Kindle is truly, simple and straight-forward. In this module, we’ll walk through the process, step-by-step. Get ready to get published!
Module 8: Harness the Power of the KDP Marketing Machine
In this module, we’ll explore the many marketing opportunities available to Kindle authors. Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) program offers many wonderful opportunities for Kindle books. The premiere program is called KDP Select. This is an optional program which includes many benefits.
Module 9: Transform Your Workbooks into Kindle Books
In this module, you’ll learn how to transform a workbook into a Kindle book. This is not as easy as it sounds as Amazon has very strict rules and they do not allow books with blank lines or pages to be published as Kindle books. Not to worry though – you’ll learn how to create workbook-based, Kindle compliant books.
